(#37) "Scout". He came in with three of his siblings in November. They were tiny babies and we nursed them to health and have gotten them to the point where they are ready to have forever homes. Scout and Darcy are the only two left of the litter and they both are very playful and gentle. About 4-5 months old now.  Photo taken Feb. 9, 2008.

(#38) "Darcy".
Adopted.

(#40) "Betsy".  She came in as a stray January 10.  She looks very much like "Nellie", another shelter cat.  She has a playful kitten personality. C-0008.  Photo 1-13-08.

(#41) "Hester".  Nice female tortoiseshell.  Photo 11-24-07.  Hester came to us Sept. 6, 2007. She was about 3 months old then, and a sweet, easy to handle young girl.

Photo taken Sept .22, 2007.

(#42).  "Puffy".  Puffy came in with two other cats from their owner who said they simply had to many cats to keep. Puffy is about 9 months to a year old. She came in Aug. 25, 2007, and already had her name. She doesn't like change very much but should adjust pretty quickly to a new environment.

UPDATED photos Sept 22. Puffy was originally pregnant when she came in. She has since had her babies; all died at birth. She has healed up and is ready for a family to love.

(#43) "Gina"  Gina has been with us for several months now. She came to us as a stray. She is a fun, energetic little girl. She's still a kitten about 7 months old.

(#44) "Kalypso"  Kalypso came to the shelter March 1. His family felt he was getting depressed at his home and hopes he can find a new home in which his sweet gentle personality will come back. In his old home he had six other cat family members and the family feels like it may have been to much for Kalypso. He also had to have a bath about every three weeks and he didn't like that. He loves to come up and rub against your legs or to jump in your lap to be petted. But this is only after he becomes familiar with his surroundings. He does feel most comfortable under a bed or hidden; when he feels threatened so his new family will need to have patience with him as he adjusts to his new home. He was born April, 2005, and is used to being the dominant male. He does like young kittens and often would allow them to cuddle against him on the bed.

(#45) "Whisper". Adopted.

(#46) "Joey". Adopted. This pretty, young male came in sick, but has recovered and is ready for a permanent home.  He has a sweet disposition, and lots of energy.   Photo 11-4-07.

(#47) "Loni"  Loni is another cat we've had since he was tiny. Loni has grown and is now ready for a home of his own. He has a gentle personality and the typical curiousness a kitten . Updated photos Dec. 1, 2007.
